How you shape design teams, hire talent, and develop people makes or breaks your effectiveness as a leader.
Learn to secure design investment and build design teams strategically as your organisation matures, budgets tighten, and AI evolves traditional design roles and product innovation practices by employing a design-as-a-business approach used at brands like CapitalOne and KFC.
Senior Design leader Jessa guides you through conducting maturity assessments and crafting team roadmaps that optimise for resilience, performance, or scaling. Receive clear frameworks for navigating tough decisions between specialist vs. generalist roles and IC vs. management careers by understanding the real trade-offs that drive team success. Understand how to connect team plans to financial numbers to create design-specific investment requirements as practiced at global brands like CapitalOne and Yum Brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell).
